    This picture is 16 year old me living in Katy, Texas after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the only place I ever knew as home. This face captures exactly how I felt that year… miserable and so sad. Katrina - killed my dog, took nearly every material possession I owned, & flooded

    My daddy loved social media, so I know he will be smiling at this post from Heaven. His battle with stage 4 lung cancer is over. When life got hard, my daddy always smiled & laughed harder, so that is what I will do now because I don’t know what else to do. I love you, Daddy

    NO they didn't! @nytimes posted an article saying gumbo is dead b/c fewer restaurants are offering it on their menus. Any real New Orleanian knows restaurant gumbo is wack. Unless it's from somebody's momma, daddy, grandmomma, granddaddy, auntie or uncle - I don't want it

    Best part of my day… the baby girls who thought I was the real Princess Tiana! One of these sweethearts said, “Can you come to my house?” My whole heart 😊😊😊😊
