The service, led by Durham Constabulary in partnership with @DurhamCouncil, brought together members of the community to pay their respects. The baby was discovered by a builder in 2024 at a property in Fore Bondgate, carefully wrapped in a newspaper dated June 19, 1910.

🤍A baby boy whose remains lay undiscovered under floorboards for more than a century has finally been laid to rest. A small and respectful funeral took place at Town Cemetery in Bishop Auckland, for the baby known affectionately as Baby Auckland. durham.police.uk/news/durham/ne…
