Can’t really describe what this man has done by backing @Offaly_GAA. He came home for the match and made it down Sunday night to meet the team and say a few words before flying out to New York. Thanks for everything @ShaneLowryGolf 👏👏👏

The absolute arrogance of Dublin present and past players in saying money has made no difference is astounding.

Over the past few months we (GAA)have acted responsibly and adhered to all guidelines and protocols despite reservations at times. We have supported our communities in every way possible and respected Gov decisions. I buried my Dad with a handful present. I am disgusted tonight.

Before I tweet this I want no relies saying it’s because I work for RTE! I’m saying it from the start. That game should be free to air. Totally wrong that so many of our volunteers, older members & young players didn’t get to see that because of a pay wall. It’s just not right.

5 or 10km? What is the difference? Who cares? Underage sport has to happen, what harm contact? It doesn’t seem to be hampering international rugby players? Imagine golfing with a family member in a 100 acre field!! Who is running this country?? Who is challenging this rubbish??

Walked off the field tonight after a brilliant u20 hurling match to hear that Pat Smullen had died. 11 years ago today my late wife Edel also passed away at just 41. Both beautiful, decent & kind people. So sorry Frances, Hannah, Paddy & Sarah. Rest in Peace Pat.

On behalf of myself and everyone involved in Offaly GAA, I wish to express my sincere condolences to all of Ashling’s family, friends, team mates, colleagues & students in Durrow NS, where I live. We are all shocked and devastated at what has happened. May Ashling Rest In Peace

Leading out Offaly for the 2nd half of the u21 All Ireland in ‘89, being closely followed by an 18 year old Adrian Cahill. Today I walked beside his hearse on his final journey. Hugely sad day for his family and large circle of friends ⁦@BirrCLG⁩ & ⁦@Offaly_GAA⁩ RIP

I thought the magical days were in the past but I was wrong. Massive thanks to everyone who joined us and to those who sent us their kind wishes. It was a great day. 🤍

Hurling has been a huge part of my life and I thought I had seen it all until another chapter was written today. What a game! The character, heart, guts and determination displayed by all these amateur players was simply outstanding. #legends

Great to be back home as All Ireland u20 champions with this great set of men. Congrats to Declan, his management & back room team & especially our wonderful young players. Huge thanks to @GalvinTullamore for kitting us all out. #uibhfhailíabu

Simply devastated, we were just starting out on our “big” plans for @Offaly_GAA . A straight talker, a leader and a gentleman. We never got to have that pint… Our thoughts are with Angela and the girls. RIP Liam
