It is a reminder of what the world can be; and a lesson on what the world can do.2 May 1935 | A French Jewish boy, Andre Benguigui, was born in Oran in Algieria. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 25 June 1943 in a transport ot 1,018 Jews deported from Drancy. He was among 418 people murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

That ANYONE would scream over the voices of their constituents is unbelievable....Heart pounding. Watch this male lawmaker scream over his female colleague for 3+ minutes while she tries to read a powerful letter written by a formerly homeless man begging them not to end public assistance. This *is* the GOP. Heartless. Angry. Abusive.

- Replying to @Aidan_BaronIn our endoscopy suite, before a procedure, when it is just staff & the patient, we ask the same questions. If the patient answers yes, we abort the procedure on a "technical" reason to avoid sending them home sedated with a potential abuser. These little things matter.
