00:00 - At Draw A Smile Uganda, we advocate for and teach boys on how to make reusable sanitary towels. This enables them to learn more about periods and not stigmatise girls who during menstruation because they're aware. Encourage more boys to get involved and lets fight the stigma.
Guys what is your take on male involvement when it comes to issues of reusable pads? Do you think involving the men and sensitizing them about menstraution and reusable pads is a good move or should we just leave it to the females and mothers alone? - Yes! You did it! We hit the target but this was not going to be possible if it wasn't for your support. We collected UGX 109,000 from last week's #UOTNight and UGX 681,223 online fundraising giving us a total of UGX 790,223. This left us with a surplus of UGX 40,223.
