- Really delighted the win the Covid Hero Prize in this year's @TeacherPrize. And I congratulate @ranjitdisale on winning the overall competition; an exciting year he has ahead of him! A deserving winner.
- Delighted to have reached the final 10 for the $1m Global Teacher Prize. Look out for me today on BBC Breakfast (8.35am), BBC London Radio (8.50am), BBC Newsround, as well as in the Guardian, Evening Standard, and the i. 🤣 Stephen Fry below...
- Personal review of 2021: I finally realised my workaholic lifestyle was not healthy + made some dramatic changes, including giving up most of my on-the-side business. This gave me lots more time to join a running club, go out and generally have fun. I'm much happier as a result.

- Students: Emma Radacanu has an A* in A Level Maths. So if you want to train to reach the US Open Final, you know what you need to do. 👍
- Dear anonymous person who snuck this on my doorstep while the front door was ajar: you're my new favourite person.
- I'm doing a bit of work for Amazon on a new project. A bunch of new (free) 'self-contained' worksheets; let me know what you think. (And on a related note, I'm in Amazon's 'Day One Blog' very soon!)

- Replying to @LifeOfJay98 and @examsolutionsI would argue very strongly that it's 1. The 'concatenation' form of multiplication is at a higher level of precedence that normal multiplication/division. e.g. 8 [divide] 5x would clearly be interpreted as 8 [divide] (5x), not as (8 divide 5)x.
