    Thunderstorm rain is good for the garden! Lightning heats the air to 30,000°C and generates enough energy for nitrogen and oxygen in the air to combine, forming nitrogen oxides. These nitrogen oxides can dissolve in rainwater and form nitrates, which help plants to grow ⚡💦➡️🌿

    Happy St David's Day. Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant hapus. Today is also the first day of meteorological spring! March 1st to May 31st. After the wettest February on record, fingers crossed for a dry and warm spring! 🌷🌼

    36 years ago. Remember the blizzard of 1982? It started on the evening of 7th January and didn't stop snowing for over 36 hours! The M4 was brought to a standstill and the roof of Sophia Gardens pavilion in #Cardiff collapsed under the weight of snow >weatheronline.co.uk/reports/philip…
