Did you know Namjoon hid a Yun Hyong-keun painting in the Come Back to Me MV? But not the one you think! In honor of #RPWPmovie's #BIFF2024 debut, I started my series on #RPWP w/ how I interpret the album using RM's framework of Yun paintings. #BIFFxRM_RPWP #RPWPBusanFilmFestival

I can't remember another "health"-related commercial that has gone out of its way to have this kind of neutral, nonjudgmental relationship with food. I already really like Megan Thee Stallion, but I respect her so much for this.

Eddie Izzard is a fantastic comedian and actress. It makes no sense that people claiming to be fans are flipping out now that she's exclusively using she/her pronouns and femme presentation, which have been part of her life (and standup!) for decades. Who did you think Eddie was?

No hate to T Swift over the landmark, but it's worth noting how this is covered vs how other artists who move physical units (and similarly incentivize their fans to purchase them) are covered. Here's it's impressive and innovative, but with BTS and others it's seen as suspect.
Taylor Swift has once again moved the goalposts regarding what the music industry can see as possible from a major pop star. trib.al/0lsPrti

I don't know how I managed to keep this quiet for six weeks, but I got to interview Kim Namjun about art! It was just as lovely as you might guess. I hope you all enjoy this story, which I started researching back in November of 2021 during PTD LA.
โ€œAs an art enthusiast and a collector who loves art, I read and study a lot hoping to grow special insights and better discerning eyes,โ€ RM from @bts_bighit told ARTnews. artnews.com/list/art-news/โ€ฆ

I'm going to push back a bit on the notion that euphemisms make sexual assault easier to talk about. Easier for whom? There are times when it's hard, as a survivor, to name what happened, but euphemizing sexual violence often benefits perpetrators & the systems that protect them.

Is there anything more pure than art museums being like FYI Kim Namjoon, we have some good art over here too! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Even if he doesn't go, I hope local ARMYs do when they go Namjooning!
Hi @BTS_twt RM, we see that you're in Marfa! ๐Ÿ‘€ We'd love to welcome you for some #Namjooning in Fort Worth, Texas for the "Turner's Modern World" special exhibition. ๐ŸŽจโค๏ธ #btsoninstagram #BTSINSTAGRAM #BTS #Namjoon

J-Hope's #LOLLAPALOOZA set managed to be both broad and intimate, an excellent intro for new fans and a comprehensive look at his body of work for ARMY. Great staging & energy, managing a major tonal shift well. Most importantly, he showed who he is as an artist. #HOBIPALO0ZA

When I interviewed RM for @artnews about his influence on US art institutions, he had more to say than I could use in one article. So I wrote another. Highlights: "I like to think about how different spaces give the artwork a different energy and feeling." artnews.com/art-news/news/โ€ฆ

I used to work at a homeless services org; folks would laugh at the idea that a person could ever confuse a staffer with someone using services, like how ridiculous, but it happened often enough. People in need don't look only one way. They have jobs, and dress like anyone else.

Hey #BTSARMY, have you gone #Namjooning to a museum or art gallery because/after Namjoon went there first? I'm doing some research for a possible story and I'd love to hear from folks who have done this. I'm trying to gauge on-the-ground impact of art prof Joon ๐Ÿ˜‚#BTS_twt #BTSRM

I've noticed Netflix cuts out swears, needlessly condenses things (sometimes at the expense of meaning), and often takes out the most salacious/suggestive language from their subs. That's not how translation and closed captioning works!!!

Michael Che comes for people he thinks he can get away with dunking on. Trans women, Black women, sexual assault survivors. Judging by his flimsy "I got hacked" defense, it seems he had no idea how beloved Simone Biles is, or just how messed up it is to share a Larry Nasser joke.
