    The PM is delivering on country’s priorities: stronger economy, cost of living pressures + supporting Ukraine. Now is not the time for leadership contest. PM has rightly apologised for events in No 10. He has my support in these vital tasks + restoring trust in challenging times.

    🇬🇧 and 🇺🇾 nationals aged 18-30 will soon be able to live and work in either country for two years. Delighted to sign the first Youth Mobility Scheme involving a Latin American nation with FM Bustillo. What better way to deepen the already close ties between our countries.

    There's no place in this country for animal cruelty. That's why the Government is ensuring that those who abuse animals are met with the full force of the law. The Bill introduced today sends a clear mssg that this behaviour won't be tolerated, with the maximum five-year sentence

    The UK condemns the recent violent attacks by serious organised crime groups in #Ecuador and laments the loss of innocent lives. 🇬🇧 stands with 🇪🇨 in its fight against drugs and other violent criminal groups whose goal is to undermine democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

    Falkland Islanders have made clear their wish is to remain part of the UK family. At the @OAS_official yesterday, I set out that the UK will never negotiate over the future of the Falkland Islands against the wishes of the people of the Falklands. @GHFalklands

    Maria Corina Machado’s disqualification from participating in presidential elections is a backwards step for Venezuelan democracy. We call for respect for human rights and the release of all those unjustly detained. The Venezuelan people deserve a fair and competitive election.

    A disappointing decision after my constructive visit to Buenos Aires.   Argentina has chosen to step away from an agreement that has brought comfort to the families of those who died in the 1982 conflict.   Argentina, the UK and the Falklands all benefited from this agreement.

    The Falkland Islands are British. Islanders have the right to decide their own future - they have chosen to remain a self-governing UK Overseas Territory.
