I hate this for you and your grandmother. And I'll not do a full throated defense of United Health, insurance companies in general, or our current system. But shooting a CEO is 100% not the answer. Calling his murderer a hero ... wrong. This is not the way.

My hunch is that if we checked tax receipts in Washington state, he'll have paid a few more $$ than the average person. "Pay back the state that helped him." I'm pretty sure he's created quite a lot of net-value for the state of Washington.

I think this is the first time on X (and possibly anywhere) I've been told to go fuck myself. Wouldn't have expected that it would be the result of tweeting, in effect, murder is wrong. Fascinating, and a bit concerning. But have a nice day, anyway.

What am I watching these days? I'm rewatching @SiliconHBO / Silicon Valley in its entirety for the 3rd or 4th time...and it is still hilarious and relevant. Brilliant writing and great comic sensibilities from the cast.
