Founded in 1964, Darwin was the first postgraduate College at Cambridge. We are home to students from 80 different countries, in the heart of the city.
- Replying to @lea_ypi and @spectatorAbsolutely appalled to see this Lea. Your fascinating, beautifully crafted lecture was a hugely appreciated highlight of the College's cultural year, and we hope your memory of the event won't be tainted by an audience member using it to write something so crude and offensive.
- Darwin rolled out the welcome mat for an extraordinary visit from the aurora borealis, #NorthernLights, which were visible across the country last night. Thank you to alumnus Dr Nick Darton for capturing this spectacular moment.
- Farewell to Professor Mary Fowler on her last day in office as Master of Darwin College. Mary has been the Master since 2012. Many of you will have met Mary either in College or at alumni events all over the world. Thank you Mary, and best wishes for your retirement!
- Darwin College is delighted to announce the election of @AmritaNarlikar as an Honorary Fellow of the College. Professor Amrita Narlikar is the President of the German Institute for Global and Area Studies @GIGA_Institute , Hamburg.
