- The NHL has conducted roughly 1500 tests per day in each of the Hub Cities since Sunday. These tests have been processed in 24 hrs or less and as of today, there have been no positive test results in phase 4.
- Breaking: Sources say Evgeni Malkin has decided to go to the open market on Wednesday. Malkin has never been a free agent before and wants to see what his options are.
- Told Nylander is staying. Done deal 6 yrs.
- Source: the NHL won’t suspend play...at least not immediately.Expect a statement from the NHL tonight.
- Pending trade call, The @BuffaloSabres trade Jack Eichel and a 2023 3rd round pick, to the @GoldenKnights for Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a 1st in 2022 and a 3rd in 2023.
- It’s believed Kane has returned home and is no longer with the team.
- We’ve lost a dear friend. Dutch’s positive energy, bombastic personality, incredible talent, and sharp sense of humour made him great on and off the air. There will be a hole at TSN that can never been filled. My deepest sympathies to his loving family. - A trade call is being set up between the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets to complete trade sending Laine and Roslovic to Columbus for Pierre Luc Dubois. A draft pick to the Jets May also be included.
- Number of positive cases climbing within the Vancouver Canucks. More than 20 players/coaches combined have tested positive. Variant symptoms include vomiting, cramping and dehydration. Family members are getting it. Scary situation. Next 5-7 days will determine scheduling.
- Good news on Tavares. Told he’s doing well today. Much better. Seems to be going in the right direction.
- Sources say contract talks between the St Louis Blues and Blues captain, Alex Pietrangelo have broken off. The team has advised Pietrangelo to pursue unrestricted free agency.
