- Total program alignment is vital in the pursuit of excellence for any team, organization, business, etc. When all parties are aligned, goals are clear, growth occurs rapidly, and success will become inevitable. ⬇️
- Thank you @MizzouFootball for the opportunity to attend practice this morning. Grateful for the chance to learn!
- Worked up to 455lbs for a speedy single this AM I have felt better results in my own training by running the three methods of muscle tension concurrently. 1. Max Effort 2. Dynamic Effort 3. Repeated Effort Instead of classic wave periodization, program the 3 together.
00:00 - Great ME hatfield box squat triple for @TimCompton57156 this morning. 565lbs + 85lbs of band tension. 650lbs @ the top. Awesome lift! @StrengthDebates @WESTSIDEBARBELL
00:00 - Bet on yourself. Be confident in your abilities. Take pride in who you are & what you do. Control your controllables. Ignore negativity. Do things the right way. Everything else will take care of itself.
- Worked up to a single @ 475lbs Attempted a single @ 500lbs but just missed it Why incorporate singles into your strength training? ⬇️ High levels of motor unit recruitment w/type II muscle fiber. Athletes who produce MU’s faster will have abundantly more explosive-strength.

00:00 - Worked up to a single @ 500lbs this AM. Fired up about this one! Training the three methods of muscle tension concurrently will not allow your athletes to de-train like block phased periodization. 1. ME = Absolute Strength 2. DE = Speed Strength 3. RE = Hypertrophy
00:00 - Love the E + R = Outcome equation by Jack Canfield. (Event + Response = Outcome) When you can’t control what’s happening around you, manage your response. This is where your power is. Control the outcome.
- Happy Sunday, Everything that you think or say impacts who you are becoming on a daily basis. Positive Thoughts = Positive Actions. Positive Actions = Good Character. Good Character = Good Destiny. What we think, we will become. Be the best YOU that you can be.
- Dynamic effort hatfield squat w/ 335lbs + approximately 120lbs of band tension @ the top. (65lb Bar) Benefits of the dymanic effort method ⬇️ 1. RFD development 2. High recruitment of type II muscle fiber 2. Reversal strength through over-speed eccentric absorption
00:00 - DE Upper W/ 250lbs + 100lbs of band tension this AM Why the Dynamic Effort method is important for athletes: 1. Rate of force development 2. Over-speed eccentric absorption 3.Reversal strength 4.Neuromuscular coordination 5.Maximized tension through entire ROM
