Do u mean investigative agencies/CBI have to make arrests considering class status, regardless of evidence? Father of the arrested saying that is understandable but u highlighting it is asking procedures & provisions of law to be thrown into air besides casting aspersions on CBI.
Breaking: Col Indrajit Chakraborty, Retd army surgeon breaks silence: congrats India ,you have arrested my son , am sure next in line is my daughter. .You have effectively demolished a middle class family. But of course for sake of justice everything is justified. Jai Hind!

    I've assumed charge as Home Secretary,Govt of Karnataka. Incidentally, I learnt that I am the first woman in that post. Thanks for all your wishes. kannada.oneindia.com/news/karnataka…

If this is with celebrities like @FarOutAkhtar , I wonder how many protestors actually know what is CAA,how many students joined out of peer pressure/peer influence, how many joined in a way that's called mob mentality--doing something without conviction & knowledge of the thing.
Farhan Akhtar giving point by point detailed explanation of the deep rooted problems within CAA that he is protesting against in Mumbai. Okay. Okay. I am joking. He doesn’t know anything about CAA or why he is protesting. Clearly. 🙄😅

Police will act as the situation demands in a riotous situation, guided by Criminal procedure code & SOPs. Not as per conscience; nor as per opinions of those watching some clips on TV on arm chair.
The police have a responsibility to maintain order; but by all accounts, Delhi Police dept’s actions in Jamia university were excessive, vastly disproportionate and unconscionable. Senior police officials must listen to their conscience, or find one they seem to have lost.

For all those fathoming my silence, well, there's life beyond twitter, the real world, with real job, real responsibilities. U may troll me, abuse me, accuse me,for u have ample time to do just that, but can't take away my conviction& commitment to duty& Law of the land. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Outside EVM strong rooms every candidate puts his own agents to keep watch, isn't it? EVM being "replaced", yet?
Is EVM replacement in the works?

Attack on jawans is not just a simple love-hate story. It's a hit at the basic identity of a nation. It's about "Power of the rightful authority of a nation" Vs"Power of the illegal forces trying to sabotage a nation's peaceful existence"--equation of power .@priyankachopra
Absolutely shocked by the attack in #Pulwama...Hate is NEVER the answer!!! Strength to the families of the martyred jawans and the CRPF soldiers injured in the attack.

Kudos to this public servant for not giving in to any pressure or influence and for performing duty in an unbiased, fair manner.
K K Muhammed, former regional director (North), Archaeological Survey of India (ASI): I feel vindicated (he had said Ram temple existed before Babri mosque in Ayodhya), I was hounded by a group of people. It is exactly the kind of decision that we all wanted. #AyodhyaVerdict

Two errors in this tweet: 1. Prejudging the action of law enforcement agency and terming it as mafia-style. 2. Comparing lawful agency's action with action of private, terrorist outfits like ISIS and Taliban.
Anybody cheering mafia-style Hyderabad ‘justice’ should never complain about ISIS beheadings, Taliban lynchings & Maoist kangaroo court executions. Modern, civilised state evolved over millennia, but we still have no patience for due process—as long as victims are ‘others’..

Took charge as MD, Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation. "Cauvery", the brand. What we make, here's a glimpse-- the Hoysala insignia.
