The WHO never said the pandemic was over, and I'm sorry you were mislead by corporate interests that wanted you to prop up the economy with your health by going back into the office, spending, and traveling. Here is the WHO in Jan 2024, and December 2024 stating the facts.

Alice Wong had a breathing tube and could not mask. She also couldn't skip in-person visits due to her conditions. She would ask doctors to mask, and was told "We don't do that anymore." She ultimately died of "an infection" while at the hospital while COVID is surging again.

I'm not young. I've never seen this in my entire life at any Olympic event. Not even close. This cannot become normalized. The Olympics should not become a last-person-standing from illness event.

The Berkeley Repertory Theatre (Bay Area, CA) has mandatory masked events on Sundays and Tuesdays. This is inclusiveness. This is community care. Vulnerable people deserve to experience life, too.

The fact that HIV antivirals are showing effectivenes against COVID says a lot about what we're dealing with here. It's not the flu. It's a novel coronavirus that gets into your blood, brain, organs, bone marrow, and DNA damage and wrecks your immune system. Stay safe.

Reminder that quarantine used to be 10 days until Delta Airlines CEO demanded it be cut to 5 because profits. That number stuck and is still being thrown around despite people still testing positive. If you’re testing positive you are contagious. Simple as that.

Everyone just "kinda forgot" that the WHO said one year ago that 1-in-10 people will face complications from COVID infections and need long-term care. Now that it's happening, people are "baffled." Health experts are "baffled." Nobody has been paying attention.

Reminder: No public health body said that COVID has gone away, they've just made you think it's safer to get reinfected repeatedly, which is false, and contrary to their own warnings, statements, and published data. It's doublespeak to make you prop up the economy with your life.
