We are saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who were touched by his service.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Congressman LaMalfa will be remembered for his dedicated service to Northern California and for his longstanding attention to issues affecting rural communities, including agriculture and forest management.
Through his advocacy, Butte County secured critical federal funding for a number of impactful projects, including the Veterans Memorial Park in Oroville, the Cohasset Road Widening and Fire Safety Project, the Palermo Drinking Water Project, and investments in Public Safety Communications, improved fire protection, Lumpkin Road Rehabilitation, and Roadside Vegetation Management. His efforts will continue to benefit our communities for years to come.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who were touched by his service.
