    I have decided to step down as Men’s Basketball Coach at Hocking College. I am proud of what we did here in my 6 years! We had no athletic scholarship $ competing against teams that have full tuition scholarships. We started competing NJCAA D2 during covid year as a D3 and

    Grateful to receive the District Coach of the Year award after winning the Conference & District Championship. Proud of what we have built here from a startup program. We are 90-18 overall the past 4 years & 46-8 in Conference. We’ve finished 1st or 2nd in Conference each year 💯

    Shoutout to all the JUCO coaches thats main focus is graduation and transfer rate! If you’re winning in that aspect of your program then nothing else really matters. Definitely what I’m most proud of in my time at that level 💯

    Trevell is leading the nation in scoring at 25.0 ppg and is carrying a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. He has a record of 37-4 so far at Hocking. He is also 3rd in the nation in steals and averages 7.6 rpg. Spring ‘23 grad - Reach out for film or more info @AdamsTrevell

    PLAYER OF THE WEEK Trevell Adams (Hocking) Garnered per-game averages of 20.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 2.0 assists during a 3-0 week for the Hawks. Rose up against #16 Mott, gathering 21 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in the 75-69 win.

    Averaging 26.8 ppg thru 10 games on 57% fg and 45% 3pt with 3.6 reb, 3.0 apg, and 3.0 spg in only 25.8 minutes per game. Multiple highlight dunks and blocks. 4.0 GPA. Full Qualifier ‼️

    PLAYER OF THE WEEK Trevell Adams, Hocking College Averaged 29.0 points per game. Dropped in 33-of-63 (52%) FG attempts and converted at an 82% (18-22) rate on foul shots. Tacked on 11 rebounds, seven steals, seven assists and three blocks.

    How important is winning to recruits at the juco level? So many guys make bad decisions which ultimately can end your career. Hard to get out of juco coming from a losing program. You have a better chance getting recruited averaging 4 ppg here than 20 ppg in another program…

    It’s been a hell of a ride this season. Proud of our guys resiliency and fight. When things get tough that’s when you find out who you really are. Looking to finish strong the rest of the way. We aren’t done yet. Appreciate the support we’ve had through the good and the bad 💯

    I really just want to see everyone make it whether they come here or not. There’s a much bigger picture than wins and losses. If I’m recruiting you and you go somewhere else you can still call me any time if you need anything. I wouldn’t be here if not for the help I received 💯

    Trevell, above all else, is just a great person. He continues to do everything the right way and is again let down by the adults in the situation. We are not 24-2 nor am I in consideration for any coaching recognition without him. He deserves better. 5x Player of the Week

    The majority of my friends that I also consider my family are black as well as many current/former players and co-workers. I am outraged by the fear they have to live with and the injustice in this country. I do not know the solution but I want to help #CoachesStandforJustice
