D-III PLAYER OF THE WEEK Corey Baker, Columbus State Shot 63% (10-16) from the floor including 3-of-5 from long range. The hot shooting led to 13.5 points/game in just 73 minutes logged during a pair of lopsided contests. He added 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists averages.

ICYMI late Tuesday night... D-III PLAYER OF THE WEEK Mickale Bates, Columbus State Registered 27.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. She was lethal from beyond the arc, knocking down 10-of-15 from long range.

BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR Mike Sears, Sinclair During the 28-game conference slate in which Sinclair went 27-1, Sears batted .438 (35-80) with 12 homers and 41 runs batted in while posting a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage.

BASEBALL COACH OF THE YEAR Steve Dintaman, Sinclair Tartan Pride went 27-1 in league play. Named the league’s Coach of the Year for the ninth time in his career and third consecutive season (2008-11, 2014-15, 2017-19).

OCCAC PLAYER OF THE YEAR Tyriana Settles, Owens Settles attacked .359 on 220 kills during 16 league matches, both numbers ranked top-3 in the OCCAC. She was a heavy defensive contributor as well, posting the OCCAC’s seventh-most digs per set at 4.10/set.

D-II PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nate Ward, Sinclair Stuffed the stat sheet vs. the University of Dayton club team to the tune of a triple-double with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game for the week.

OCCAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Keegan Corbett, Sinclair Corbett batted 4-for-9 with a homerun and two RBI in Sinclair’s series sweep over Kellogg. He also drew a walk for an overall OPS of 1.300. Made an impact from behind the dish as well, throwing out three baserunners.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK (again) Trevell Adams, Hocking Averaged 30.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists per game as Hocking tacked on three league victories. Knocked down 32-of-63 (51%) FG attempts while getting to the charity stripe 23 times and sinking 20 (87%).
