- Congratulations to Tyson Heaton (2019 BYU commit) for being selected as the 2018 Press Enterprise @hsgametime_pe Inland Empire Baseball Player of the Year. Tyson went 12-0 on the mound helping the Thunderbirds to a CIF-SS D2 Championship. Yucaipa’s first since 1994. Awesome job!
- Cypress 5 Yucaipa 1. Lots to be thankful for. Since taking over the storied program, we have won a CIF-SS D2 Championship, set the single season win mark, won back to back league titles, have become a nationally ranked program & in 2 years the Thunderbirds are a combined 54-11.
