I want to announce that I will be stepping down as pitching coach with @SC4_Baseball. Will be forever grateful for everything @SkipRK23 has done for me both as a player and as a coach on his staff for the past 3 years. Thankful for all the relationships and experiences I have…

This one really hits me deep down. Former teammate of mine turned player in the first year I coached after playing. Also the first guy I ever sent on to a 4-year school as a juco pitching coach. Always knew he had it in him! Proud is an understatement!!

Really great thread here providing some interesting perspective. Would recommend that anyone who sees this takes the time to read it from the beginning. Keep your focus on today, in order to achieve your vision for the future!

When my focus is on the uncertain future, my clarity for today's work is lost. I go through the motions. And when I put my head on my pillow every night, I am disappointed I'm not the player I want to be. It is a cycle that promotes fear and shame. And it requires perfection.

Love this! One without the other is pointless. Excel at both and see where it gets you!!

"Velocity gets you opportunity. Command gets you innings. Velocity makes you interesting. Command makes you relevant. Velocity creates challenges for the hitter. Command allows for the pitcher to control the AB." - Ron Wolforth

…gained in my time at SC4. I have met some extraordinary people and created some great memories. I’m excited to see what the future has in store, and hope to eventually return to coaching at the college level and hopefully beyond when the time & place are right!

My guy has been grinding on the mound and in the weight room! Very projectable frame with a live arm. Gonna be interesting as he continues to add strength and gain velo!! Good arm to add to the radar for the ‘23 class.
Working on some pitch development with a light bullpen yesterday @Warriorbaseba11 @CoachBezel @PrimeTimeVelo

Came in as a kid with some solid tools and gonna be leaving as a dude!! It’s crazy to think about how much you’ve matured since the first day you stepped on campus. True example of what hard work can lead to. Excited to see what you’re able to accomplish moving forward!

Let’s go!! This past fall these two guys came into @PrimeTimeVelo and bought into our process, put the work in, and never looked back. Excited to see what the Robster does at Adrian and to see what Chase is able to accomplish in his senior year.

Don’t underestimate the importance of your low intent days! Taking these days seriously and not skipping them allows you to build throwing volume in order to properly progress your long toss and mound work. As always, great info being passed along from @jaegersports !
Here’s 5 Keys to position ur arm to Get Healthy, Be Durable & Throw Harder: 1) Throw More Low Intent Volume 2) Throw Often (6-7 x a wk) 3) Avoid High Intent Throws until arm is fully stretched out 4) Throw off mound on Long Toss days 5) Lots of Pre/Post Arm Prep @FlatgroundApp
