I will not be calling races @turf_paradise today. Overnight, Ricky Blind Dog took an unexpected turn for the worse and at 10am MST he will cross the rainbow bridge. For a little blind dog, he made one helluva difference. God Bless you, Ricky. My heart is broken.

The passing of Cody Dorman reminds me life is not about what we achieve, it is about what we overcome. The bond between Cody and Cody's Wish remains unbroken. The tears of joy & the tears of sorrow, all pay tribute to the eternal love between a young man and a horse. RIP, Cody.

Over 500 replies across various platforms to the passing of Ricky Blind Dog. I cannot respond to all of them but thank you so much. An amazing comfort. If you knew RBD - he led his life with #nofear. A lesson for us all. Even his littermate brother, Toby posed for a rare photo!

Dreams can come true. I rebuilt my life from ground zero. 4 years ago I called races 12 days per year. Now I call races 175 days per year and have a F/T writing job. It has not been easy. Grateful to my friend, @AnnouncerPete for getting me started on the right track! #gratitutde

You have got to work every day on improving your race calls. Even on my off days, I do vocal exercises and prep for the next day. Tomorrow, for example, I will get up early and call the jumps races from the UK to prep for @JumpingwithNSA races. #dedication #nevergiveup #ambition
