Today, I am compelled to write with an anger that burns deep within my soul. The recent events that unfolded in Zimbabwe, leading to my abrupt deportation, are not just a reflection of bad governance, but a stark indication of the lengths to which the government will go

Deeply disappointed to see congratulatory messages, Mr President, despite glaring concerns raised by @theEFCSADC observers. Delays, bans, intimidation, biased media—these were far from fair elections. Let's acknowledge the truth. gga.org/zimbabwe-elect… #ZimbabweElections2023

Our illegal ejection from Zimbabwe cannot be justified as a lawful deportation. We were not provided with a formal written notification of the Immigration Act violation, nor were we informed of any other laws violated.

We cannot afford to be silent in the face of such tyranny. This incident is a wake-up call for all Zimbabweans to rise up against the oppressive forces that seek to undermine their democratic rights and aspirations. We must channel our anger into action, demanding accountability!

This is a call for the people of Zimbabwe to rise up against tyranny and demand the change they so desperately deserve. Our purpose in Zimbabwe was noble and clear - to conduct vital field research on election conditions and challenges. We followed all the necessary protocols,

Despite our efforts to engage in collaborative efforts and foster open dialogue in Zimbabwe, our experience has been nothing short of shocking. It serves as a clear reminder of the bullying tactics and anti-democratic behavior exhibited by the ZANU-PF-led government,

But what awaited us was a shocking and horrifying ordeal. It served as a brutal reminder of the bullying tactics employed by the ZANU-PF-led government, as they seek to stifle dissent and silence any voices that dare to challenge their autocratic rule.

Dr Blade Nzimande's video message on the main challenge facing ZANU-PF and some former Liberation Movements in Southern Africa is thought-provoking. His articulate insights shed light on crucial issues facing #Zimbabwe urging us to reflect and take action. Spot on, indeed!

This is not an isolated incident; it is a clear indication of the extent to which the government will go to suppress the truth and maintain their grip on power.

Grateful to present alongside @RediTlhabi at the House of Representatives on enhancing U.S.-SA bilateral relations. Her commitment to advocating what's right mirrors our shared values at @GGA_org —dedication to freedom of association & speech, the main pillars of good governance.
