    I am that parent shem. I had kids at 35 & 38. I spent my 20s studying, working 3 jobs, (radio, tv & print). I traveled! Then I learnt about the stock market & directed my income towards a healthy investment portfolio. Now I work when I want. My kids see me! Don't be stupid babe.

    Tomorrow, gwala undergoes a MAJOR operation. I was with him & family this evening. Special moments of reflection. You will not see that XG is ill. He went through chemo like it was nothing! Weight is the same, energy amazing. But tomorrow is a big day. Keep him in your thoughts

    My grandmother at my wedding 8 yrs ago. Yesterday she bowed out at age 90, 3 weeks before her 91st. Swift & painless. I drove to her house when the world was noisy. She knew how to heal with her silence, words & warmth. Her eyes said "I get you. Her love fixed everything. ❤

    I got married at 32. I had Neo at 35, Khumo at 38. Were it not for a mishap, I'd have had another baby at 40. Stress-free parenting. Every part of my life was ready for them. I run with women who have had kids at 40, 42, 43. Relax. Love yourself. Invest in your freedom & joy.
