The ongoing street disorder must stop.
I am open to dialogue with anyone who is willing to work with me to resolve the issues facing our community.
My message to those engaged in violence tonight is go home before someone is seriously injured, violence is not the answer.

- Earlier today we received a report of offensive comments made towards an individual on social media. We take incidents of this nature very seriously. We have spoken with her and our inquiries are continuing.
- My thoughts are with all our injured officers some of whom I spoke to in person last night. It's worrying that many of those involved in the disorder were so young. We would ask that community & political leaders use their influence to keep young people safe from harm.
- Over the last six nights 55 @PoliceServiceNI officers have been injured while working to keep order on our streets. I thank the Officers and their families for their continued dedication & professionalism. I again appeal for calm & ask that the street violence stop immediately.
- Please see my statement below following the response to my Christmas Day tweet from Crossmaglen.
- I strongly condemn tonight’s attack on a serving officer @PoliceFedforNI @NIPolicingBoard @Justice_NI

- Thank you to @Keir_Starmer & @LouHaigh for visiting @PoliceServiceNI HQ today, a good opportunity to outline the unique challenges faced by local Police as we continue to work to keep the community safe.
- In the last 24 hours, 5 police officers attacked and injured for just doing their job and 2 officers enter the sea and rescue a woman. Wishing all a speedy recovery @PoliceServiceNI @PoliceFedforNI

- For National Police Memorial Day I met with Thelma and Louie Johnston, the mother and son of the late Con David Johnston who along with Con John Graham was shot while on patrol in Lurgan in 1997. Let us take a moment to reflect and remember those who have gone before us.
- The @PoliceServiceNI is proud to stand with our fantastic colleagues in @NIAS999 and @NIFRSOFFICIAL clapping our outstanding NHS staff. Thank you to you and your families for the dedication and sacrifice as we battle #Covid19 #ClapForOurCarers #StayHomeSaveLives
