- During the heavy rain early Friday morning, a driver attempted to enter I-91 in the wrong direction. The #CTDOT wrong way detection system activated with flashing lights, alerting the driver of their error. The motorist then stopped and turned around. This technology saves lives!

- During the heavy rain earlier this week, our wrong way detection system in #Meriden helped stop a motorist from traveling onto the highway in the wrong direction. After seeing the flashing lights, the driver stopped, turned around, and entered the highway in the proper direction.
