I’d say on this particular occasion you should have slowed and made it a non issue. Driver started the manouvre well ahead of you approaching the junction. If the driver turned when you’d be closer then of course they should give way.

Terrible driving by @RobertLeeDist on a closed school street. If you can't wait 5 seconds and endanger me and my 6 year old you are not fit to drive, let alone professionally. Then you swear at me in his earshot. @DulwichRoads @London_Cycling @MikeyCycling @theJeremyVine

This driver ran into me during a close pass attempt, on a school street. 🔴£492 Fine 🔴£110 Court Costs 🔴£197 Court Surcharge 🔴6 Penalty Points ❌Careless Driving ❌Failed to stop after accident ❌Failed to report accident Thank you @metpoliceuk and CPS for justice served.

I’ve just driven alone on motorway for 200 miles, which is a rare occurrence for me. Being alone in the car on the motorway meant I had time to look around at vehicles that overtake me or my those I overtake. I’d estimate at least a quarter were on their phones. It’s shocking.

He had no idea a pedestrian would pull out a phone and record evidence of his reckless phone use. I spotted him looking down approaching the lights where I was waiting to cross and he stopped right there scrolling through with no care. 6 pts + £200 on the way

The comments are unreal blaming the cyclist. Of course 100% driver’s fault. Having said that if I were approaching junction with standing traffic I’d expect a numpty such as this and not play with my bottle

Lovely driver for the pest control company @ShieldPestUK with a @RoyalFamily warrant. I had caught him on his phone a little earlier. This is what happened when he came alongside. Reported for phone use and company notified #Fatal5 #Fatal4
