My first day of Torts class in law school my professor pointed directly at me and said “that is where Ted Bundy sat when he was in this class.”

Today my sweet 80 year old neighbor came to my door and said “follow me. I need to show you something”. She led me to her backyard and pointed at this tree. A huge smile developed as she said “my magnolia tree is blooming. It’s so beautiful. I had to share it with someone”. ❤️

Even as a child (cue the old man joke) I was always hoping people from other places would move here. I sensed from very young that there were people and places that were a lot more exciting than my life.

Ted Lasso appeared at a low time for civility. We hated each other over politics of all things. We needed a show that taught dignity, kindness and human worth. Other than it being over, the ending was perfect. It begins with the Cure and ends with Cat Stevens. Bring tissues.

I remember when our first was born we came home to a spring cleaned house with meals prepped in the fridge. My sister has come in and did that so we could just focus on the baby.
