    Police officers and “Starbucks workers” with a U-Haul truck showed up at our picket line at 5:15am this morning. “Starbucks workers” removed the furniture from the patio and loaded it into the U-Haul.

    Although the scabs that deep cleaned the store this morning are gone, picketers are now being watched by Boston police officers in a cruiser and not allowed to be on the patio.

    When asked why officers were there, they said they received instructions at midnight to come to the picket line at that time. When asked if Starbucks made that call, they declined to say so.

    24 days of peaceful picketing outside 874 Commonwealth Avenue and the City of Boston deems it appropriate to bring a prisoner transport vehicle to the picket line — what kind of message is this suppose to send to workers?
