- The Blue Ridge Parkway is now open from MP 0 to MP 200.1 in Virginia. This includes the 200 miles of the scenic byway from Shenandoah National Park south to US Highway 52/Sunbelt Road south of Fancy Gap. Visitors can now access the northbound Parkway from Sunbelt Road.

- Today, Nov. 6, NPS restored access to approximately 11 miles of the Parkway, within the Asheville corridor, from milepost 382.5, at US 70 near the Folk Art Center, to milepost 393.6, at NC Route 191 near the NC Arboretum, including the French Broad Overlook at milepost 393.8.
- As we head into the weekend, we wanted to share a look behind the gates of another aspect of recovery efforts on the Parkway. Tens of thousands of downed trees and additional debris across hundreds of miles are keeping crews busy clearing the road where it can be cleared.
