    Tough not to equate the name "Jared Lorenzen" with our A#1 biggest rival, Highlands. I know there are many in the Cov Cath community sharing the sentiment when I say that I'm sending many prayers Jared's way during his battle. @JaredLorenzen22 @HighlandsFB @CovCathFootball

    Ughh....reading this just...I'm just completely deflated. Kentucky high school football has lost an absolute giant, and the winningest football coach in the history of the state. Rest in peace, Coach Philip Haywood. Your family & the Belfry HS community are in my prayers.

    Here was a past look I took at Coach Haywood from is playing days with the Prestonsburg Blackcats. What a collosal loss. His 491 head coaching are #1 in Kentucky, and I've been told they put him at #5 overall in the history of high school football in the nation.

    #CoachesFromTheirPlayingDays Phillip Haywood, #1 in football coaching wins KY high school history, coached his 1st game while Ford was President. Starting at his alma mater, Prestonsburg in '75, he went to Belfry in '84. He's still @BelfryFootball1, but here he is as a Blackcat.

    Please keep Dixie Heights / Georgia Tech / Buffalo Bills alum Mark Pike in your prayers. Mark was diagnosed this past summer with Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and is currently in very dire shape fighting COVID-19. @DixieHeightsHS @GeorgiaTechFB @BillsLegends

    Casey McGinness @CaseyMcGinness had 118yds in @CovCathFootball's season opener against Ryle. That brings his career total to 3,099yds which is 783yds shy of the Cov Cath school record of 3,882...set by Cole Chadwick, who played for the Colonels from '98-'00. @CovCathColonels
