- #Pakistanis living #overseas should have a right to vote only 2 circumstances: 1) they only hold a Pakistani passport 2) they file their tax returns in Pakistan. Otherwise it’s irrational to give the vote to people who have no direct stake in the country.
- I’m sad to share that Professor Stanley Wolpert, the inimitable historian of South Asia has passed away. Generations of students have read and been shaped by his monumental work and generations still will. Rest in Peace.
- 6 years ago today Shama and Shehzad were burnt alive in a furnace in Kasur. Nothing has changed and our society continues its downward spiral :(
- History in the making: for the first time a Punjabi has stood up. Let’s see if the Punjab rises with him. The battle for Pakistan is on. 2018 as significant as 1947.
- Glad to see the 1971 law on Quaid’s mazaar being implemented. Would be nice to see another piece of paper get such respect and attention, the constitution I mean :)

- Actually @NidaKirmani is not wrong here. In United India Muslims would have been more than twice their current numbers, majorities in two big provinces (bigger than UP), and further majorities in 3 more. Would not have been easy for Hindutva to come into power. But it’s past now.Nida needs some help. This is insane.
