    #BCFHeadsUp This just in: an official sighting! A crew member was quick enough to capture this video as he was patrolling the deck of the Kwuna near Moresby Island in Haida Gwaii. He told us he could hear a faint “Ho, ho, ho,” in the distance. 🎅 ^mj

    #BCFHeadsUp A deckhand on board the Spirit of BC has confirmed seeing a twinkling comet-like object shooting across the sky above Active Pass. We've received the footage & it looks like we're not the only ones witnessing the magic of Santa! Happy holidays from our crew to yours!

    Last night at ∼10:30 PM, the 🇨🇦 Coast Guard requested assistance with a person in a rowboat near Salt Spring Island who had set off flares and was being blown out to sea. Our crew on the #Quinsam launched a rescue boat, located the individual, and towed them to shore. (1/2)

    Meet Dasher! At Comox terminal she escaped her crate & her owner had no luck getting her back before the last sailing left. Terminal Attendant Amanda caught Dasher & kept her safe before Chief Steward Nicole took her home overnight & reunited her w/mom the next day. Kudos team 🙌

    Flags will be flown at half-mast on all vessels and at all terminals until further notice to honour the victims of the tragedy at the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver. We extend our deepest condolences to the Filipino community and to everyone affected by this tragedy.

    As we temporarily suspend food service to mitigate the spread of #COVID19 & support social distancing, we are donating more than 2,400 kgs of food to @RainbowKitchen5 in Esquimalt who serve their community by offering food to those in need. Kudos to all involved! ❤ ^sd
