I have no doubt #Bolsonaro has supporters but cries of “fake news” are pathetic. The @nytimes is NOT fake news. It’s one of the most respected media outlets in the world. They do their due diligence & then some. Thank God for free press & journalism to shine a light on the truth.

I’ve noticed 90% of the responses are from Brazilians who are appalled by #Bolsonaro and his racist, misogynistic, classist and homophobic views... but there’s that 10% screaming “fake news” with GIFS of #Trump - makes one wonder if Russia is influencing the Brazil election..

It was amazing to welcome Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Michael Bublé at the Hillcrest Community Centre today during their visit to Vancouver. As Harry and Michael took lessons on wheelchair curling they showed great support and enthusiasm

I am hesitant to draw more attention to the #March4Children anti-trans and anti-2SLGBTQI+ protests taking place in Vancouver but as a member of the queer community I cannot stay silent. Hate & bigotry has no place in our city - and I stand shoulder to shoulder with my community.

Tonight I met I Todd, who has been clearing this median at Expo & Cambie that’s overgrown with weeds since it was erected by @CityofVancouver. He has spent the past 3 hrs clearing it. He felt compelled “as it’s the entryway to downtown.” Put this man on the payroll. #vanpoli
