    Can we all remember that there are more non-A Level results today than A Level results? Whole range of tech/vocational & Access to HE students who we must also celebrate & recognise. It’s not rocket science (technical) & journalists (vocational) should know better

    Constructive meeting just now with @GillianKeegan - I was able to set out strength of feeling about need to cancel exams this month. She is now rightly considering what I said before she responds. I was clear that exams should be cancelled - for safety, fairness & pragmatism1/3

    I hope @educationgovuk announce January BTEC exams are cancelled - it would not be fair on students nor on staff for them to go ahead & flies in face of PM's stay at home messages
