This is a culture where marriages are arranged. Having many children a duty. There isn't the same bond between these men brought up to hate and their wives and children. It's unwise to impose western values. Even some of the mothers become desensitised with trauma.

It's much harder for out of shape people to get back into exercising and taking care of themselves than it is to just keep going as someone who's never experienced any issues. What do the mockers want these people to do? Not go to the gym and stay fat so they can continue to
