- When I took the helm at Roosevelt, I believed in the community, my faith,& myself. I was confidently delusional-&we did what many thought was impossible. Do you believe? We're looking to build on Coach Garrett's success. You'll have the opportunity to bring your team.
- This morning a gay male asked me, can I give you a compliment? I said, of course. He said, your suit is nice, & your collar is impeccable. I asked, can I give you advice? He said, yes. Don't ever ask can you give a compliment.Give it. If there is issue, its there issue, not yours.
- There are football players from @NorthMesquiteHS at our Spring Game. I asked them to sit in the stands and they replied, yes sir. Didn't know who I was, my title, or who I knew. Such respectful young men. Great job parents, staff, and coaches. @KoachV

- I was out sick, our Assistant Superintendent of Student Services texted me to ask, "how are you doing? " I was shocked bc I don't know him well. That action is not listed in most leadership books, but goes further than any rubric. Thx you @mjasso12
- Again, he won't brag but I will. This is just as important to me as a win on the field. Keep setting the standard @DemarcusHarri01 @DrVroonland @mesquiteisdtx @GeraldSarpy
