X-Tactics

X-Tactics is an SRPG in which you control a group of special agents who are in charge of protecting Planet Earth from extraterrestrial invaders. To do that you have to fight turn-based battles, which include interesting twists on the gameplay.

The combat system in X-Tactics is a relatively traditional one: in your turn you have to move your characters a certain number of squares, and attack any enemy that you can reach. That said, for your attack to be effective, or for you to perform a special ability, you need to first match a series of symbols on the screen.

Another interesting thing about X-Tactics is that the real weather conditions on your location affect the weather in the game. This means that if it's raining in your real city it will actually be raining in the game as well.

As usual, in the beginning you only have two unlocked characters you can play with, although you can eventually unlock many others. Your heroes are pretty interesting, and include a modern samurai, a teenager with a gun saber, and an alien with an Italian accent. Each one of them has its own personality and special abilities.
