You can create a character from scratch by choosing its appearance, voice, backstory, relationships, and personality. The app also includes millions of user-created characters with their own memories and history. Conversations are meant to feel more continuous than a string of disconnected replies, since characters can remember earlier interactions and react to the choices you make throughout a story.

Turn conversations into visual scenes

Saylo goes beyond written roleplay. Plot Video and Plot Image let you turn specific moments from a conversation into images or short five- and fifteen-second videos. Visual Stories can reshape roleplays and scripts into illustrated chapters, while the manga tools let you turn scenes into multi-panel comics without needing to draw them yourself.

Set the tone for each adventure

You can switch between different AI models and narrative styles depending on whether you want a more emotional story, stronger memory, or a more intense roleplay. The Clips section also lets you browse characters, videos, manga, and stories shared by other users, as well as join community challenges and themed events.
