Timeline

Our Story

2019
Stefan, Daniel, and Sohyeon saw the automotive industry stuck in its Nokia era, fragmented and hardware-bound. With deep expertise in automotive software and cybersecurity, they set out to build the Android era of mobility: open, unified, and software-defined.
2020
The team builds its first prototype: a Renault ZOE converted in just six months. The original architecture is replaced with a centralized computer controlling all actuators and sensors with Veecle OS, proving that a car can be fully software-defined.
2021
Early test drives on closed tracks validate the approach. Investors and early partners recognize the potential of Veecle’s software-defined approach.
2023
The company rebrands as Veecle GmbH, aligning brand and product under one name. Global carmakers begin testing Veecle, marking the start of its industry adoption.
2024
Major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers run pilots and benchmark Veecle against competitors. The result: Veecle is faster, more flexible, and built for developers.
2025
New investors join as OEMs move into pre-development with Veecle. The company launches Veecle Development Studio, a cloud platform for developing and maintaining embedded systems. Veecle OS becomes open-source, forming a shared foundation for mobility and beyond.
