Protecting your privacy is our priority
When you receive care through Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), members of your care team — such as nurses, doctors and other health professionals — collect personal information to support your health care. This information is part of your health record and may include care provider notes, test results and pharmacy information.
All health records are kept confidential, and your information is collected, used and shared only as permitted under the B.C. Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
