Come to NOTE and join us to see some of Los Angeles’ finest storytellers and musicians, all reading and playing 10 minutes (or less) of brand-spanking-new art.

Created by our very own Kirsten Vangsness and featuring past artists such as Tom Lenk, Joel Scher, Tamara Zook, Alex Hogy, Asha Noel Iyer, Greenberry Lucas, Stephen Moffitt,
LaMarr Randle, and Phinny Kyomura.
Doors always open at 7:00 PM and then the show launches at 7:30 PM!

First Year of BITS
The very first BITS 6/29/2023
Long time NOTE member, Kirsten Vangsness created BITS and presented the inaugural BITS on June 29, 2023. Kirsten not only hosted the evening but performed as well. That evening we launched BITS with the incredible talents of June Carryl, Tamara Zook, Stephen Moffitt, Phil Ward, Gina Garcia-Sharp, LaMarr Randle, Joel Scher, Tom Lenk and Asha Noel Iyer.
Our first BITS benefitted Theatre of NOTE but also
Kitty BungalowCharm School- a Los Angeles based cat shelter which provides services to the most vulnerable felines.
Our 2nd BITS was a smash and immediately let us know that Kirsten’s concept was one that could last. It also cemented BITS as on ongoing fundraiser benefitting multiple
non-profits.
This particular BITS was not only a benefit for Theatre of NOTE but also for Wildlife Learning Center.

Our 3rd BITS was a benefit for Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Theatre of NOTE.

Our 4th BITS was a benefit for Aloha United Way, Maui Humane Society and Theatre of NOTE.
Artists featured: Joel Scher, Stephen Moffitt, Kirsten Vangsness, Tamara Zook, Julian Cisneros, Eddie Gorton, Mara Schuster-Lefkowitz, Phinny Kiyomura, Will McFadden, Pamella D’pella and Tom Lenk.
In October we presented 2 evenings of BITS for spooktacular reasons.

November BITS was a benefit for Doctors Without Borders and Theatre of NOTE.
Artists featured: Hiwa Chow Elms, Teri Gamble, Joel Scher, Kirsten Vangsness, Stephen Moffitt, Nicole Gabriela Scipione, JJ Barrera, Tom Lenk, Evan Marshall, Tamara Zook and June Carryl.
Our December BITS benefitted Chrysalis, Black AIDS Institute and Theatre of NOTE.

Since we took January off, we made sure once again to get 2 BITS in one month.

April BITS was a benefit for World Central Kitchen & Distractions at the Crash Site.
