Spier is a regenerative wine farm in Stellenbosch, 40 minutes from Cape Town, where wine has been made since 1692. Our cellar – the oldest dated cellar still in use in South Africa – sits within 650 hectares of restored indigenous renosterveld and fynbos. Our 80-room hotel is surrounded by rewilded fynbos gardens along the Eerste River, reflecting more than 30 years of ecological restoration grounded in soil health.
