A few months ago, we saw Google testing recurring, repeating Google Posts options. Well, now that option is officially live. This is in addition to the ability to schedule Google Posts.
As Darren Shaw said on LinkedIn this was announced this week in the Google Small Business Bulletin, where Google wrote:
If your business has a weekly rhythm — like a Wednesday trivia night or a Friday happy hour — you no longer have to repost them manually every week. We’ve added a "Repeat" dropdown to Events and Offers so they can update automatically. It’s a simple way to keep your customers informed without adding another task to your to-do list.
How it works: The next time you create a post, just select the frequency that fits your schedule, and it will stay updated on Search and Maps.

This can be a super handy and time saving feature. Darren wrote:
- You can set a post to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly.
- You can use this on Offer and Event posts, but not Update posts.
- Perfect to make sure your profile stays looking freshly updated.
- The idea is to use it for recurring events like happy hour or quiz night.

Update: A couple weeks later, Lisa Landsman from Google confirmed on LinkedIn saying this is also available in the API.
