INSULATOR EPOXY (34KV) Hastings Temporary Cross Arms are an excellent tool for changing cross arms. Solid fiberglass arms provide maximum strength and are rated for 34.5 kV. Two piece assembly for easy installation. Mounting base has machined slots to accept arm bolts and includes a ratchetstrap assembly. Captive bolts and washers on arm assembly enable the arm to be mounted onto the mounting base without requiring tools. Recommended safe working load is 150 lbs.. per side. Standard conductor holder will accept conductors up to 11/16 O.D. Available with large capacity conductor holders which have an opening of 25/8 and will accomidate a conductor within a line hose.

MAST & BRACES
The mast and braces attach the the H4862-8 Auxiliary Arm to provide a lift of 46" when the saddles are mounted a recommended 18" apart.
AUXILIARY ARM ASSEMBLY
This Epoxiglas Auxiliary Arm Assembly is used to change crossarms, insulators, or poles on short spans up to and including 15 kV phase-to-phase. Two M4740-5W wire tong saddles can be used to mount the mast to the pole. (The saddles are not included and must be ordered separately.) The 5' mast provides a lift of 30" above the top saddle when the saddles are mounted a recommended 18"apart. The arm has a balanced load rating of 600 pounds; unbalanced at 150 pounds. Each wireholder is rated at 150 pounds.
