The Palm Beaches Student Showcase Of Films

Final Boarding Call… Meet the Finalists

The spotlight is set on the finalists of the 31st Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films, a standout group of emerging storytellers whose work rises to the top of one of Florida’s most competitive student film programs.

Selected from a record 636 submissions representing 95 high schools and colleges across the state, these finalists showcase exceptional creativity, technical skill, and originality across film, animation, documentary, music video, screenwriting, and design. Their work reflects bold perspectives, fresh ideas, and the passion driving the next generation of filmmakers forward.

Chosen by an esteemed panel of 47 industry professionals spanning film, television, media production, visual arts, and education, each finalist represents the future of storytelling and the continued evolution of the creative industry.

Winners will be revealed live on May 1, 2026 at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, where finalists will take center stage during a red-carpet award celebration honoring their achievements and dedication to the craft. The Student Showcase of Films is the largest statewide film competition and award program for Florida high school and college students, with nearly 700 aspiring filmmakers, writers, graphic designers, and digital media artists expected to attend.

Since 1995, the Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films has served as a launchpad for student creators, providing opportunities to gain recognition, earn scholarships, and connect with industry professionals. More than $30,000 in scholarships, cash prizes, and awards are presented annually, supporting students as they continue their creative journeys in film, television, and digital media.

These finalists are not only competing for awards, they are building the future of storytelling.
