Five Peaks Animation is dedicated to nurturing and expanding the animation industry by creating content that educates and entertains through playful exploration on topics such as history, science, literature and wildlife conservation.
Animation allows imagination to take center stage turning sketches, pixels, and motion into pure movie magic. This category celebrates Florida students who bring stories to life through traditional, stop motion, or computer-generated animation. Whether hand-drawn or digitally crafted, these films capture the wonder of storytelling and where every frame is a performance and every movement is important.
Open to Florida High School and Florida College Students
Films must be at least 1 minute and not more than 30 minutes (TRT) (excluding credits).
$3,000 Award
Funds are awarded to the submitting school.
Submitted projects will be judged on the following set of criteria:

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
1. Register as an applicant by clicking the Submit Your Project button below, which will direct you to the FilmFreeway platform for the SSOF. If you don't already have an account with FilmFreeway, you must create a free account to upload and submit your project.
2. Once on the FilmFreeway platform, click the Green SUBMIT NOW Button select your category and complete the submission process including uploading your video.
