A person’s access to quality healthcare is limited by circumstances over which they may have little control, such as poverty, geography and discrimination. Globally, health systems face labor shortages, an aging population and workforce burnout following the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, these factors are responsible for a heavy burden of preventable disease, high healthcare costs and a demoralized workforce. Digital health offers continued hope, but traditional silos between clinicians and patients hinder its full potential and the lack of diversity in healthcare leadership leaves many communities without representation in the dialogue shaping care delivery.
HLTH Foundation works to address these challenges by promoting equitable innovation, more diverse leadership and patient inclusion, fostering collaboration across sectors to create lasting change in healthcare.
