Patient Inclusion

Giving patients a voice in healthcare innovation.
The benefits of patient-centered healthcare are well understood: more satisfied patients, better reported health and adherence to therapy, as well as stronger patient-provider relationships. Studies have also demonstrated a correlation between the extent of patient-centered care and decreases in unnecessary medical services.
Less appreciated is the value of collaborating with patients in healthcare redesign. HLTH Foundation’s Patient Inclusion Initiative recognizes patients as a force multiplier for equitable, effective digital health innovation and individual healthcare.
We’re ready to bring your ideas to life with campaigns and content that demonstrate the power of partnering with patients for better healthcare, technology and outcomes.
Ask Patients Lounge
The Ask Patients Lounge invites attendees at the annual HLTH event to engage in one-on-one conversations with patients and caregivers facing a range of conditions, and with various experiences using digital health technologies. The Lounge highlights what’s too often missing in healthcare innovation: an authentic understanding of patients’ needs, challenges, and aspirations. Our mission is to show leaders across health systems, technology, life sciences, and policy that integrating direct, diverse patient conversations into innovation leads to solutions that are more accessible, engaging, and inclusive for all.
The Ask Patients Lounge is a collaboration between HLTH Foundation and Savvy Cooperative, the pioneering patient-owned co-op and certified B Corp dedicated to making patient insights a standard part of health innovation.
