Every Fort Knox safe starts as a thick sheet of American steel, machine-folded to minimize joints and welded internally and externally for 100% weld penetration. The result is a seamless, solid steel enclosure that outweighs and outperforms comparable models from every major competitor. Body steel ranges from 10-gauge on entry-level models up to a triple-layer 1/2″ combination of carbon steel, stainless steel, and ArmaKnox AR500 on the Legend. Door edge thickness runs from 3/8″ to a full 1″. Locking bolts range from 9 to 28 depending on model.
Every safe is customizable. Choose your size, steel thickness, fire protection level, exterior color, lock type, and interior layout. Gun safes are available in ten sizes from the compact 4024 up to the 7261XD with 100 cubic feet of interior volume. Home Safes come with the Reinforced Fire Liner standard, rated to 1,800°F for 2.5 hours. Vault doors are available in four rough opening sizes from 82″x40″ up to 96″x48″, in both in-swing and out-swing configurations.
Fort Knox has been family-owned and operated in Orem, Utah since 1982. Every safe is warranted to the original purchaser for life against defects in material and workmanship, forced entry, and incidental damage from accident, fire, or flood. Locks are covered under the same warranty.
