Step-by-Step Guide to Open Outlook OLM Files for Mac
Step 1: Download the DRS Softech OLM Viewer for Mac from the official website. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Step 2: Click Select Files or Select Folder to load your OLM files. Press Next.
- Select Files: Add a single OLM file from your system (click again to add multiple files).
- Select Folder: Add a folder that contains multiple OLM files at once.
Step 3: If you added the wrong file by mistake, you can use the remove options:
- Remove: Delete a single selected OLM file from the list.
- Remove All: Delete all added OLM files at once.
Step 4: all the added OLM files:
- In the left panel, click Expand All to view all mailbox folders.
- Double-click any email to preview its content.
- Select the emails or folders you want to convert and click Next to continue.
Step 5: If you want to convert your OLM files, then click on the Save in File Formats or Email Clients. Also, pick the Format from the drop-down list.
Step 6: Apply Basic Features:
- Date Filter: Convert emails within a specific date range.
- Naming Convention: Choose a preferred naming pattern for output files.
- Custom Folder Name: Set a custom name for the destination folder.
- Skip Previously Migrated Items: Avoid duplicate migration.
Step 7: Use Advanced Features:
- Remove Duplicate Emails: Automatically eliminate duplicate messages.
- Save Attachments Separately: Download attachments in a separate folder.
- Split Resultant PST File: Break large PST files into smaller parts.
- Save PDF Max 500 MB: Limit the size of each generated PDF file to 500 MB.
- Split Options for MBOX Files: Break large MBOX files into smaller parts for easier storage and handling.
Step 8: Choose the destination path where you want to save the converted file. Click Start Process.
